What a great show for 3i. In fact when I review the statistics and compare it to past years, I see that we have had a large increase in the number of people passing through our booth. Primarily I attribute this increase to SAP customers trying to find a solution that will provide mobility without requiring armies of consultants and crates full of hardware and software. Of course, our sponsorship of the Mobility campus did not hurt either (pictures below).

We had a great response to our new product myMobileHR for SAP ERP HCM (Human Capital Management) as well as myMobileFieldService for SAP ERP CRM (Customer Relationship Management) but by far the biggest response we got was relating to 3i’s ability to develop HTML5 mobile apps using ABAP. This greatly reduces the need for developing platform specific mobile apps and still allow the ABAP developers to mobilize SAP and non-SAP scenarios using their existing skill sets. We look forward to circling back around with those who stopped by our booth.

I found this very interesting Press Release on ABI Research’s web site. ABI has designated Juniper Networks as the leading vendor for Unified Threat Management. This caught my eye, because we have done several SAP Mobilizations in the past where Juniper products were used to secure the different mobile platforms. I was impressed with how easy it was to integrate our SAP mobility solution with the Juniper solution. They really made the whole security question ‘go away’ when it came to iPad/iPhone SAP mobilization. Congratulations Juniper Networks!
